A thermic fluid heater is a type of industrial heating equipment that is used when pressure is not required. The entire system of this equipment is pumped with a thermic fluid to deliver heat to the targeted processes. During combustion, heat is transferred to and rejected from the thermic fluid, which then cools down to complete the process. Rejected, this fluid goes back to the thermic fluid heater, and the cycle repeats.

Within a Fluidtherm, thermal fluid can reach a maximum temperature of 350°C; however, it is possible to reach a greater temperature as long as it stays below the instantaneous ignition temperature.
